Reifel Migratory Bird Sanctuary is ranked as one of the top ten bird-watching sites in Canada and consists of nearly 850 acres of managed wetlands, natural marshes and low dykes in the heart of the Fraser River Estuary. The Sanctuary is a key habitat component for millions of birds seeking feeding and resting areas during their annual migrations along the Pacific Coast. After a morning of exploring and watching, we'll take a break to warm up and enjoy a no-host lunch in nearby Ladner before finishing our day with one more stop at the Boundary Bay Wildlife Area. A detailed supplies list will be available at registration. Please note: a valid passport or enhanced Washington state driver's license is required to participate. DAY/DATE: Thursday / March 6 TIME: 9:00 am–4:30 pm AGES: 14 and older (under 18 with an adult) COST: $60 40th Annual Langley Murder Mystery Weekend Calling all wannabe Agathas, Sherlocks and Matlocks! There's a "murder" mystery afoot in downtown Langley and they need our help! We'll venture to south Whidbey Island and scour the seaside village for clues, question a few local characters, and try to solve the murder. Along the way we'll enjoy a no-host lunch, explore all the shops and take in the lovely surroundings before submitting our ballots for "whodunit". DAY/DATE: Saturday / February 22 TIME: 9:00 am–5:30 pm AGES: 10 and older (under 18 with an adult) COST: $65 Museum of Vancouver, Granville Island and Gelato! Join for a fun day exploring some of Vancouver's best! First stop: the award-winning, modern-day historical MOV located in Vanier Park. Next up: Granville Island where we will enjoy a no-host lunch and explore this one of a kind market. Last stop: LaCasa Gelato, home to 238 different flavors of gelato, and other treats!
