Scottish Country Dancing Classes
Scottish Country Dancing is the social dancing of
Scotland without any of the competitive aspects. It has a
long, interesting history and is one of the root influences
for U.S. folk dancing. You will progress from learning
the basic steps and figures, then put them together into
more complex dances. Participants will enjoy moving
to the music of jigs and reels and eventually the elegant
strathspey. Soft soled shoes without heels or slippers
are recommended. Go to: bellinghamscd.org for more
information or visit: facebook.com/bellinghamscd.
Pre-registration is required for all sessions.
