' No School' Day Trips!
Join our staff for a day of adventure, friendship and fun!
Participants should bring a lunch and filled water bottle,
dress accordingly and bring money for extra snacks or
purchases. A detailed email will be sent to all registrants
prior to each trip.
Snow Angels & Sledding
Get ready for a snow-packed adventure
at Heather Meadows and the Mt. Baker
Ski Area! Grab your sleds (we'll bring
some extras too) for some exhilarating
fun. Let's not forget about building
snow forts and making snow angels! We'll warm up midday
with a delicious cup of hot cocoa in the cozy lodge as well.

Rec & Roll
We're headed south to the Children's Museum of Skagit
County and Riverside Lanes. We'll explore the newly
expanded museum's exhibits, climbing structures, art
and music rooms, semi-truck and train exhibits, STEM
activities and more! After lunch we'll bowl a couple of
games at Riverside Lanes before heading home.

Kids Ski & Ride Mt. Baker
There is no school today for Bellingham Public Schools!
Drop your kids off with us for a ride to Mt. Baker Ski
Area and some fun on the slopes! Four packages to
choose from:
Transportation Only: Participant has their own Mt. Baker
Season Pass AND their own ski/snowboard equipment —
Cost: $59
Transportation + Lift Ticket (7–10 years old):
Participant does NOT have a season pass, but
DOES have their own equipment — Cost: $99
Transportation + Lift Ticket (11–12 years old):
Participant does NOT have a season pass, but
DOES have their own equipment — Cost: $119
Full Package: Participant will receive a lesson with
Mt. Baker Ski Area Instructors, all day equipment rental,
and beginner lift ticket — Cost: $169
*If your child does not enroll in the recommended
"Full Package" (includes lesson), they MUST be proficient
in their skiing/snowboarding ability. Bellingham Parks &
Recreation staff are there to chaperone, NOT to provide

Scales, Tails and Splashing Trails
We'll start our adventure at the Reptile Zoo in Monroe,
with fascinating lizards, snakes, and more. We'll learn
about conservation and sustainability through hands-on
experiences and interactive fun. After lunch, we dive into
the aquatic world at the Stanwood-Camano YMCA!
