Family/Community WINTER PLAYBOOK 2025 | BELLINGHAM PARKS & RECREATION 12 PNW Snowshoe Adventure Enjoy an easy to moderate winter wonderland trek today. Destination will be dependent on recent snowfall. After our snowy adventure we'll make a quick stop on the way home for an afternoon treat. Participants provide their own snowshoes and poles. A detailed supplies list will be available at registration. DAY/DATE: Saturday / January 11 TIME: 8:30 am–3:30 pm AGES: 12 and older (under 18 with an adult) COST: $65 Join us on unique adventures each month! Registration fees include transportation, admissions and guide. Participants should bring money for food and purchases unless otherwise noted and wear comfortable, weather appropriate clothing and shoes. Transportation will be provided in a 12-passenger van. Pre-registration is required. NEW IN 2025 – We will start offering trips to British Columbia! Please note: a valid passport or enhanced Washington state driver's license is required for all BC trips. Join us today as we head to Seattle's International District. Our first stop is the Wing Luke Museum, a Smithsonian Institution affiliate and the only pan-Asian Pacific American community-based museum in the US. Here we'll enjoy a tour and explore the exhibits before heading to lunch at a nearby Chinatown restaurant. We'll end our day with one last stop at Uwajimaya, the iconic PNW destination to experience Asian food and culture. Northwest Flower & Garden Festival Each year the Northwest Flower & Garden Festival transforms the Washington State Convention Center into an amazing display of breathtaking gardens and beautiful outdoor living spaces. This year's theme, Spring Dreamin' features over 20 display gardens, 100+ free seminars, and thousands of treasures in the garden marketplace. Whether you're a seasoned gardener or just starting to dig in the dirt, there's something for everyone!
