Family/Community WINTER PLAYBOOK 2025 | BELLINGHAM PARKS & RECREATION 14 Puzzle Hustle Join us for a night of fun where teams of up to four people will have 1 hour and 30 minutes to complete the same jigsaw puzzle — the three fastest teams win prizes! Pre-registration is required. DAY/DATE: Friday / January 31 TIME: 6:00–7:30 pm AGES: All ages LOCATION: Bloedel Donovan Community Building COST: $25 per team (maximum 4 people per team, only 1 member registers for the team) COORDINATOR: Rosa Caldwell MIN: 10 teams of 4 / MAX: 20 teams of 4 DAY/DATES: Saturdays / Session 1: January 25 Session 2: February 8 TIME: 11:00 am–1:00 pm (Transportation not included); 9:45 am–2:15 pm (Transportation included) AGES: 7 years & older (under 18 accompanied by adult) LOCATION: Depart/return Bloedel Donovan Park for shuttle; No shuttle meets at Salmon Ridge Sno-Park parking lot (I-5 to Bellingham, Exit 255: Sunset/Mt. Baker Highway State Route 542; travel east 46.8 miles to Salmon Ridge Sno-Park. Turn left into parking lot.) COST: $20 (driving yourself; must have your own Sno-Park pass and ski equipment); $40 (includes transportation; participants must have ski equipment) MIN: 6 / MAX: 10 COORDINATORS: Billy Reeves / Pete Tryon Ski Dattle Want to learn how to cross-country ski while meeting new friends? We're partnering with Nooksack Nordic Ski Club to lead a cross-country trek through Salmon Ridge Sno-Park Trails featuring a 1.4-mile Razor Hone Trail and Mom's Trail loop adventure. No experience needed. A complete list of supplies and equipment needed will be available online and at registration including places to rent cross country skis locally and purchase a Sno-Park pass. More great ski information can be found at: nooksacknordicskiclub.org. Choose from two dates and two transportation options this year! Important Notes: • Purchase a Daily Sno-Park permit for $25. • Permits at: epermits.parks.wa.gov • Permits in person at: Backcountry Essentials, REI, or the Nooksack Nordic Ski Club. • Participants supply their own cross–country skis, boots, and poles.
