Preschool (PS): Swim lessons for children ages 3 to 5 years old. Levels 1–5 based on students' abilities. Youth (YL): Swim lessons for children 6 through 12 years old. Levels 1–6 based on the American Red Cross Learn-to-Swim program. Teen/Adult: More specialized lessons for 13+ years old. Our Beginner class is for students with little to no swimming experience wanting to learn the basics. Our Advanced class is to help lap swimmers, triathletes and other swimmers improve their strokes. Placement Test: If you are unsure of your child's level or if it has been more than six months since your child's last swim lesson, please bring your child to the Aquatic Center for a FREE placement test. Drop-in placement tests are available during any lap swim time. Refunds: To be eligible for a refund or transfer, minus administrative fees, participants must notify the Aquatic Center 3 days prior to the beginning of the program ($5 administrative fee). Programs will not be prorated for partial participation. Registration opens at 8:00 am on Monday, one week prior to the start of each session. If the Monday is a holiday, registration will open on Tuesday at 8:00 am. To enroll in Preschool Level 3-5 or Youth Level 3-6, students must have passed the previous level within the last six months at Arne Hanna or completed a Placement Test into the level with one of our instructors. The system will not allow students to register without meeting one of those prerequisites. Register online at: cob.org/ezreg
