FALL PLAYBOOK 2024 | BELLINGHAM PARKS & RECREATION Facility Rental Info 24 FACILITY RENTAL INFO Youth Sports Practice Fields Youth Sports team practice fields are available for reservations! We offer a discounted field rental rate for youth sports teams to reserve space and not have to worry about competing users! Teams can reserve one of the following field areas for $8 per hour throughout the season: • Cornwall Memorial Park - North Field • Cornwall Memorial Park - South Field • Lake Padden Park Cricket Pitch/Baseball field • Roosevelt Park • Fairhaven Park - Lower Fields • Forest and Cedar Park • Laurel Park • Sunnyland Memorial Park Shelters Our picnic shelters will be closed for the season after October 31, so reserve now for your early Fall events! The reservations open again starting on April 1, 2025; however you can reserve now for your Spring events! (Hint: Graduation weekend is our busiest weekend of the year, book now to celebrate Spring 2025 Graduates.) You can reserve Park Facilities up to one year in advance. • Cordata Park Shelter • Cornwall Memorial Park North and South Shelters • Fairhaven Park Shelter • Lake Padden Park Playground and Rotary Shelters • Squalicum Creek Park Shelter • Whatcom Falls Park Small and Large Shelters Special Events Requests to use facilities for events that are open to the public, commercial, use field or trail space, use special event facilities or have alcohol present in a park facility requires a separately executed contract and insurance. Requests must be received a minimum of 30 days in advance (60 days in advance is strongly recommended.) Approval is dependent upon supporting information submitted with application, facility/park availability, peak public use, and staff availability.
