Contra is a style of American folk dancing, performed to live music with a caller teaching each dance and calling out the various steps. Although the dances are done in pairs standing in long lines, no partner or experience is necessary to participate. At the completion of each free workshop, the regularly scheduled Contra dance takes place from 7:30-10:00 pm with a suggested donation of $8/student, $12-$15/adult. Come dance and dance some more!
