Youth/ Teen cob.org/parks • (360) 778-7000 11 DAYS/DATES: Monday-Friday, June 24-August 23 TIME: 8:00 am–5:30 pm AGES: 6-11 years old LOCATION: Bloedel Donovan Park Pavilion COST: $285 per week (Week 2 and Week 7 only $171) COORDINATOR: Rosa Caldwell MIN: 6 / MAX: 18 This year Bellingham Parks & Recreation will be offering three distinctive summer day camps. The first, BellingCamp, is geared for children 6-11 years old and will be held in the Bloedel Donovan Park Pavilion. The second will be Camp Cordata. This brand-new summer camp will be located in the new Cordata Park Pavilion and designed for kids 7-12 years old. Our third camp will be Adventure Day Camp. This long-time favorite is for kids 10-14 years old who want to travel around NW Washington and visit new places. Each camp will have its own unique themes and itineraries and include a day (or more) of swimming. We are excited for these new and improved offerings and think you will be too! BellingCamp at Bloedel Campers will stretch their imaginations, play silly games, learn new skills, build friendships, and make lasting memories all in a safe environment this summer! Each day includes a variety of exciting activities, swimming, arts and crafts, snacks, games and more! Space is limited. Sign up today and get ready to have fun, fun, fun! Pre-registration is required for each week. Week 1: Mysterious Mayhem June 24-June 28 Things are getting tricky at camp this week! Figure out who is causing the mysterious mayhem. Get ready for sneaky games and lots of suspicion! Week 2: T-Rex in the Wild West July 1-3 (No Camp July 4 & 5) Practice your Yeehaws and Howdys out here in the Wild West… oh and also dinosaurs have time warped here and will eat us all. Can you lasso an Allosaurus? Week 3: Treasure Hunters July 8-12 Are the tales of buried treasure around Lake Whatcom true? Come help us find out! Week 4: Superheroes & Villains July 15-19 This week our campers gain powers and become superheroes… or villains! Week 5: Games Galore July 22-26 Who's ready to compete with their fellow campers? This week we will play and make our own games! Week 6: Ocean, Mermaids & Pirates July 29-August 2 Ahoy! Want to play pirate-y games and make ocean-y crafts? Jellyfish, crabs, sharks, and whales swim into camp this week. Week 7: Fantastic Fantasy August 5-7 (No Camp Aug 8 & 9) Dive into all things fantastic! Are you ready to fight dragons, talk to bears, and fly with fairies? Week 8: Finding Bigfoot August 12-16 Bigfoot haunts Bloedel Donovan and Whatcom Falls in the summer! Test your outdoor survival and tracking skills of this elusive creature. Week 9: Survivor August 19-23 Get ready for a wild week of Survivor! Obstacle courses, capture the flag, food eating competitions, water balloon fights, crafts, games, and more!
