Sports/Fitness SPRING/SUMMER PLAYBOOK 2024 | BELLINGHAM PARKS & RECREATION 32 YOUTH SPORTS CAMPS We are partnering with the Bellingham School District and their coaches to offer these great youth sports camps. Baseball: Grand Slam Baseball Camp (Co-ed): The complete baseball camp for all kids! We take pride in teaching the fundamentals and in developing a positive attitude toward baseball and life. Led by Sehome HS baseball coaches and players. DAYS/DATES: Tuesday-Thursday, June 25-27 COST: $90 TIME/AGES: Session 1: 8:30-11:30 am; Entering 1st-4th Session 2: 12:00–3:00 pm; Entering 5th-7th COORDINATOR: Patrick Ulinski/Coach Dane Siegfried LOCATION: Sehome High Baseball Field & Commons MIN: 10 / MAX: 100 Basketball: Bayhawks Boys Basketball Camp: Learn valuable skills and drills to increase your game! Campers will get to experience scrimmages and team building activities to add to the fun! DAYS/DATES: Monday-Thursday, July 15-18 COST: $115 TIME/GRADES: Session 1: 9:00 am-12:00 pm/Entering 3rd-5th Session 2: 9:00 am–12:00 pm/ Entering 6th-8th COORDINATOR: Patrick Ulinski/ Coach Brad McKay LOCATION: Bellingham High School Gym MIN: 30 / MAX: 120 Bayhawks Girls Basketball Camp: Join Bellingham Bayhawks players and coaches for games and fundamental basketball instruction. Campers will grow their game in a positive and fun teaching environment! DAYS/DATES: Monday-Thursday, July 8-11 COST: $115 TIME/GRADES: Session 1: 8:30-11:30 am/Entering 3rd-5th Session 2: 12:00–3:00 pm/Entering 6th-8th COORDINATOR: Patrick Ulinski/ Coach James Wolverton LOCATION: Bellingham High School Gym MIN: 12 / MAX: 100 Squalicum Youth Boys Basketball Camp: For the young player looking to have fun while learning the fundamentals of the game of basketball. Camp goals include improving shooting skills, developing ball handling skills, learning effective passing techniques, developing team offensive and defensive skills, developing rebounding techniques and a big emphasis on fundamentals and fun! DAYS/DATES: Monday-Thursday, June 24-27 COST: $115 TIME/GRADES: 1:00–4:00 pm/Entering 3rd-6th COORDINATOR: Patrick Ulinski/Coach Tyler Hannigan LOCATION: Squalicum High School Gym MIN: 20 / MAX: 120 Squalicum Advanced Boys Basketball Camp: For the serious player who would like to take their game to the next level. This camp will challenge players both physically and mentally using advanced skills and drills. Coaching staff will instruct campers in the fundamentals necessary for success as a basketball player. DAYS/DATES: Monday-Thursday, June 24-27 COST: $115 TIME/GRADES: 9:00 am–12:00 pm/Entering 7th-9th COORDINATOR: Patrick Ulinski/Coach Tyler Hannigan LOCATION: Squalicum High School Gym MIN: 20 / MAX: 120
