Youth/ Teen WINTER PLAYBOOK 2024 | BELLINGHAM PARKS & RECREATION 8 Camp Things to Remember: • Bring a full water bottle, rain/wind jacket (dress for weather), a meal, and snacks. • We MAY do an optional Polar Plunge (weather dependent)! Bring swim suit, extra shoes, and towel just in case! • Allergen Notice: We are a nut–free camp. • Wear good walking/hiking shoes (sturdy tennis shoes are great), no Crocs or flip flops. • Campers and staff will abide by current Health Department protocols. • A positive and fun attitude! • If a camper has special needs call to discuss adaptation arrangements, (360) 595–3728. DAYS/DATES: Monday-Friday / April 1-5 TIME: 9:00 am-3:00 pm AGES: 7–12 years LOCATION: Bloedel Donovan Community Building COST: $180 COORDINATOR: Rosa Caldwell MIN: 10 / MAX: 20 Spring Break Camp A week off from school?! Let's play games, make fun things, and be silly all week at camp! Register EARLY before it's too late! DAYS/DATES: Monday-Friday / March 11-15 TIME: 4:30-6:30 pm AGES: 7-16 years LOCATION: Depot Market Square (mini ramps!) Wednesday at Makerspace (1 Bellis Fair Parkway #618; next to Dick's Sporting Goods) COST: $95 ($70 for camp and $25, Makerspace lab fee) COORDINATORS: Rosa Caldwell/Unknown Board Shop/ Bellingham Makerspace MIN: 5 / MAX: 12 Skate Camp Grab a helmet and pads for after school skateboarding! Skate with local expert Zac Garza and his crew from Unknown Board Shop and camp counselor Rumble. Important Notes: • Campers must bring their own helmet, pads (elbow, knee, and wrist), skateboard and full water bottle. • Campers must wear closed–toed shoes to camp. • If a camper has special needs, please call (360) 595–3728 to discuss adaptation arrangements.
