Families of 2nd graders and younger are invited to play and wear festive outfits, make crafts, and win prizes playing games at our booths. From 1:30–2:30 pm we will offer a Sensory Friendly experience for youth ages 16 and younger accompanied by an adult. During this time, we will have a limited supply of headphones, gloves, and fidgets at the door for families to use while visiting the party. DAY/DATE: Saturday / February 10 TIME: 1:30–4:00 pm (Sensory Friendly 1:30–2:30 pm) AGES: 2nd grade & younger accompanied by an adult LOCATION: Bloedel Donovan Community Building COST: Free ($5 suggested donation) COORDINATOR: Rosa Caldwell Gentle Yoga Workshops Bring a yoga mat and blanket to Bloedel for a mini gentle yoga workshop that will focus on a particular area of the body. These therapeutic yoga sessions are open for people of all ages and skill levels. There will be postures and exercises reclined, seated, and standing. After the yoga segment, we'll decompress with the sounds of crystal singing bowls and other sound healing instruments. Sessions are hosted by Ruby Koa of Inspire Studio. Optional items to bring: yoga blocks, strap, tennis or massage ball, eye pillow. The City conforms to Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act and Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
