FALL PLAYBOOK 2023 | BELLINGHAM PARKS & RECREATION Adaptive 4 DAY/DATES: Sundays, Oct. 15, Nov. 12, Dec. 10 TIME: 1:00-3:00 pm AGES: 18 months–16 years old, with an adult LOCATION: Bloedel Donovan Community Building COST: $10 for a 3 visit pass (will host every season) COORDINATOR: Rosa Caldwell GangBall An adaptive game that involves two teams, the object is to pass the "GangBall" to your teammates while advancing it to your endzone to score points. Open to all abilities – all bodies welcome! Sports chairs provided! Bowling with Buddies Sign up to bowl with us! Bellingham Parks & Recreation and the Max Higbee Center will host an afternoon of bowling for individuals with disabilities. Everyone 11 and older is invited to bowl! You bring socks, we will provide the shoes! Bring money for concessions! DAY/DATES: Mondays: Sept. 11-Dec. 11 (excluding 10/16, 11/20). State St. COST: $5; Bring additional money for concessions COORDINATOR: Rosa Caldwell / Max Higbee Center MIN: 5 / MAX: 30 DAY/DATES: Mondays, Sept. 18, Oct. 16, Nov. 20, Dec. 18 TIME: 6:00–8:00 pm AGES: 14 and older LOCATION: Depot Market Square (Sept. only), then Bloedel Donovan Community Building (Oct.-Dec.) COST: Free COORDINATOR: Rosa Caldwell / Max Higbee Center SPIN Dances Dance with us every third Monday of the month! Bellingham Parks & Recreation and the Max Higbee Center will host SPIN Dances for individuals with disabilities. Everyone 14 and older is invited to dance to music provided by Glitt3r Lyfe's Aireekah! Max Higbee Center photo Sensory Friendly Sundays Families! Join us for sensory-friendly crafts and games. Pay for a pass and drop-in! Check out our sensory gloves, noise reduction headphones, weighted blankets, and toys. A Quiet Corner and different Sensory Stations at each session for kiddos to explore movement, touch, smell, and more in a safe and understanding space!
