Native Plant Stewardship Course
Rivers, Forests, & Shorelines of the Salish Sea Region
FREE 6-week course focused on stewardship of the northern
Puget Lowland native plant and wildlife habitats. Registration
now open! Priority applications due the first week of September.

WHAT: This no-cost, 30-hour course combines classroom learning
with field trips to enrich understanding of the key roles that native
plants play in our forests, rivers, and shorelines.
WHEN: 6-week program meets in/around Bellingham.
Classes: Sept 14-Oct 19, 6:00 to 8:30 pm (Thursdays).
Field Trips: Sept 23, Sept 30, and Oct 14, 8:30 am to 3:30 pm (Saturdays).
INSTRUCTOR: T. Abe Lloyd is an Adjunct Professor at WWU's College of the Environment and long-time WNPS member.
He grew up in Whatcom County and has been studying the region's flora and fauna for 30 years.
