Picnic Shelters and Pavilions Bellingham Parks & Recreation maintains a number of reservable picnic shelters and pavilions. Shelters feature a covered area, picnic tables and access to nearby restroom facilities. Pavilions are heated, provide tables, chairs and use of a small kitchen. Consider us for birthday parties, reunions or other special events. Inflatables There is an additional fee of $25 per piece in addition to hourly rental rates. Equipment must meet standards of State Law and the Washington Administrative Code. Equipment must include its own power source. Open Space Open space can be rented at many of our facilities, in some instances it may be required (large events, races, etc.). Commercial vs. Non-Profit Commercial refers to all individuals, groups or businesses who charge admissions, class fees, sell tickets, food or other items, solicit funds or donations, offer other money-making activities or promote a commercial business.
