TRIPS FESTIVAL OF FAMILY FARMS Several Skagit Valley Farms are opening their gates for farm tours. Enjoy an informative day in the country learning about how local farmers help produce the food we eat and the clothing we wear. Learn how berries, pumpkins, apples and flowers are grown. We may see how alpaca fiber, beef products are produced, and how shellfish are harvested. Pack a sack lunch for a picnic, dress for the weather and wear shoes that you can get mucky. Personal care assistants are welcome at no cost, but MUST register to ensure a seat in the van. This program is not eligible for a refund. Minimum must be met one week prior to trip. Highlights include Uwajimaya (famous Asian market), the Dragon Pole, Historic Chinatown Gate, Wing Luke Museum and much more. Bring $6 to buy an authentic Chinese lunch. This is a walking tour so please wear comfortable walking shoes and dress for weather. Personal care assistants are welcome at no cost, but MUST register to reserve a seat in the van. We will stop off for an early fast food dinner in Mount Vernon (Keri is choosing the healthiest option!!). Please bring $5-6 for your meal!
