American Red Cross Lifeguard Training Course
If you are 15+ years, interested in a job helping recognize, prevent and
care for injuries, then the American Red Cross Lifeguard Training Course
is a great place to start. This course is instructor-led in addition to online
materials accessed through the Red Cross website once you have
registered and paid for the course at AHAC and successfully completed
the skills pre-test prior to starting the first day of class Sunday,
November 2.

Water Safety Instructor Course
Are you 16 years and older? Then you too can become a Water Safety Instructor and help save lives
by teaching skills that will keep all ages safe in, on and around the water. This course is instructor-led
in addition to an online pre-course and materials accessed through the Red Cross website once you
have registered and paid for the course at AHAC and online at the Red Cross for an access fee of $35
at least two and one-half weeks prior to the course start date of Friday, December 19.
American Red Cross Lifeguarding Instructor Course
Wish to share your current certified American Red Cross Lifeguarding knowledge with others and
you are 17+ years old, then this is the perfect course for you. This course is instructor-led in addition
to an online pre-course and materials accessed through the Red Cross website once you have
registered and paid for the course at AHAC and online at the Red Cross for an access fee of $35 at
least two and one-half weeks prior to the course start date.

Employee Recognition
2014 has been a time of change here at the Aquatic Center, especially
amongst our staff. We have a wonderfully enthusiastic and caring team
here at AHAC. A number of our long-time staff members (4+ years) have
moved on to other adventures: Dominic, Dillon, Matt, Winona, Amber.
