Youth/ Teen WINTER PLAYBOOK 2026 | BELLINGHAM PARKS & RECREATION 6 Mini Ballers Sign up today for this fun series of classes that provide young children with a positive introduction to team sports. Kids and adults will play together while coaches lead activities, drills, and mini games helping to build basic skills along with sportsmanship and community. Each session includes four classes focusing on a different sport each week. Featured sports include soccer, football, basketball, and baseball. Pre-registration required. Preschool Open Gym Join us for the perfect dry place for your preschooler to have some fun. Bring a scooter or favorite active toy, no bicycles please. We provide balls, hoops, mats, and music for everyone's enjoyment. Socialize with other parents while your preschooler plays with other children! Program is staffed; however adult supervision is required at all times. It's time to play the Bellingham way! Join our playfessional staff for a day trip (or two) filled with adventure, friendship, and fun. The Depths of Imagination Sign up for a one-of-a-kind adventure — Imagine Children's Museum in Everett. This award-winning museum features three floors of exploration, exhibits, and hands-on fun! After a quick lunch break we'll spend our afternoon swimming at the Skagit Valley YMCA. Snow Much Fun We're heading to the hills in search of the white and fluffy stuff! Grab your sleds (we'll bring some extra too) for a day of fun as we go sledding, build snow forts and make snow angels! We'll take a mid-day break for lunch and warm up with a cup of delicious hot cocoa. Final destination will depend upon recent snowfall.
