Qigong reduces stress, strengthens the immune system, creates flexibility, speeds healing from injury, promotes restful sleep, relieves anxiety and depression, and much more. Caryn will guide you through simple warm-ups and Qigong forms, ending with a short sitting meditation. Wear comfortable clothing. Instructor Caryn Boyd Diel has been teaching internationally for over 30 years. No experience is necessary. Pre-registration required. Ukulele Jams Have you always wanted to learn to play the ukulele but don't know where to start? Want to learn classics like Somewhere Over the Rainbow, Song of Old Hawaii, or Let it Be? In this class, you will learn essential chords and strumming patterns to play the songs you love. No past ukulele experience is necessary! This class is being taught by Bo Bestvina, music teacher at Gifts of Music NW. In each 6-week session you will learn basic steps and figures that build into fun group dances. Dance to the joyful music of jigs and reels and the elegant strathspey.
