Preschool (PS): Swim lessons for children ages 3 to 5 years old. Youth (YL): Swim lessons for children 6 to 12 years old. Teen/Adult: More specialized lessons for individuals 13 years or older. Placement Test: If you are unsure of your child's level or if it has been more than six months since your child's last swim lesson, please bring your child to the Aquatic Center for a free placement test. Drop-in placement tests are available during any lap swim time. Least busy times: Weekdays: 11:00am-1:30pm or 7:15pm-9:00pm Weekends: 2:30pm-2:45pm or 4:15pm-4:30pm Refunds: To be eligible for a refund or transfer, minus administrative fees, participants must notify the Aquatic Center 3 days prior to the beginning of the program (minus $5 administrative fee). Programs will not be prorated for partial participation. Swim Lesson Registration Information • Opens: Saturday at 10:00 a.m., one week before each session. • To enroll in Preschool 3–5 or Youth 3–6: – Students must have passed the previous level within the last 6 months at Arne Hanna or completed a Placement Test. • Returning families: – Don't create a new account—prerequisites won't transfer. – Contact the front desk for help.
