Sports/Fitness WINTER PLAYBOOK 2026 | BELLINGHAM PARKS & RECREATION 18 DAY/DATES: Wednesdays / January 7-February 25 TIME: 5:30–7:30 pm AGES: 18 years and older, under 18 with an adult LOCATION: Civic Stadium COST: Free COORDINATOR: Jim Pettinger Open Track Night Civic stadium is open with lights and restrooms. Drop in and complete your workout during the darkest months of the year. No registration needed. Badminton Open Play Looking for a way to get moving this winter? Stop by the Bloedel Donovan Community Building and join us for casual badminton! We will have 2 indoor courts set up and provide racquets and birdies. Each court will be dedicated to fun, open play. Individual playing time will depend on total participants and rotate using the racquet rotation queue. Sign up for one month or all three! Pre-registration required. 5th Annual Santa 5K at Cordata Run, skip, or walk in our Santa-themed 5K at the fabulous Cordata and Julianna Parks. Participants are welcome to run as fast as humanly possible or take a stroll while enjoying hot cocoa and chatting with family and friends. Costumes and festive attire are highly encouraged. Fun for everyone with prizes given for the fastest times as well as other festive categories. Registration includes a Santa hat. Hurry-the deadline is December 17th! Don't miss out on all the ho-ho-holiday fun!
