Participants should bring a lunch and filled water bottle, dress accordingly and bring money for any extra purchases throughout each trip. A detailed itinerary will be sent to all registrants. Inclusion Note: Campers with special needs require a personal care assistant. Assistants attend for free with prior arrangement. SUMMER YOUTH TRIPS! AGES: 8-12 years old LOCATION: Depart/return Squalicum Creek Park (destinations vary in terrain and surfaces) COORDINATOR: Jim Pettinger MIN: 8 / MAX: 9 DAY/DATE: Friday / August 7 TIME: 9:00 am–3:30 pm COST: $65 Berries & Beach Day Pick and play all in one day! We'll start the morning in Bow where we'll enjoy hand-picking fresh, juicy berries. After filling our baskets (and tummies!), we'll head to Larrabee State Park for plenty of fun in the sun. It's the perfect mix of farm-to-fun and beach exploration-don't miss out on this sweet summer day! Fair Day Fun! Popcorn, prizes, and piglets – oh my! We're heading to the NW Washington Fair in search of food and fun. Join us as we munch sweet treats, say hello to farm animals, play games, and maybe even hop on the Ferris wheel. Trip price includes limited fair attractions/tickets. Extra spending cash recommended. Cotton candy here we come! DAY/DATE: Wednesday / August 19 TIME: 9:00 am–3:30 pm COST: $75 DAY/DATE: Friday / June 26 TIME: 9:00 am–4:00 pm COST: $65 Bays, Bridges & Sweet Treats Explore, discover, and treat yourself on this action-packed day trip! We'll start the morning at Padilla Bay Nature Preserve, where kids will get hands-on with tide pools, marine life, and the wonders of the Salish Sea. Next, we'll head to Deception Pass State Park, home to breathtaking views, sandy beaches, and fun trails to explore. To top it all off, we'll stop by the Lopez Island Creamery Factory Store in Anacortes for a delicious scoop of locally made ice cream. It's the perfect mix of nature, adventure, and a sweet reward! Beach Bingo Nothing says summer like a day of Beach Bingo at Birch Bay State Park! Join us as we search for critters, splash in the surf, and build sandcastles. After a morning of activities at the beach, we'll stop for a sweet treat at The C Shop candy store. After that we're heading to Million Smiles Park in Lynden where we'll swing on the jungle gym and explore the 35 ft treehouse! DAY/DATE: Friday / July 10 TIME: 9:00 am–3:30 pm COST: $60 Soaring at Summit Come fly with us! We'll kick off the day with kites at Birch Bay State Park. After a beach lunch and playground time, we will head to Summit Trampoline Park. Bring your energy and enthusiasm! DAY/DATE: Friday / August 28 TIME: 9:00 am–3:30 pm COST: $70
