Youth/ Teen SPRING/SUMMER PLAYBOOK 2026 | BELLINGHAM PARKS & RECREATION 12 DAYS/DATES: Monday-Friday Session 1: July 6-10 Session 2: July 20-24 Session 3: August 10-14 TIME: 10:00 am-2:00 pm AGES: 12-14 years old LOCATION: Mon-Wed: Cornwall Park Large Shelter; Thurs-Fri: 314 E. Champion Street COST: $120 per session COORDINATORS: Lance Romo/Libby Chenault MIN: 8 / MAX: 16 Smart Trips Adventure Camps Adventure, exercise, confidence, and independence… Kids ages 12-14 can get these (and more!) by learning to bike, walk and ride the bus for local trips. An urban hike teaches map reading and navigating on foot. Our day on the bus teaches trip planning and many places you can go using the WTA bus system. Camp concludes with a super fun scavenger hunt all around town by bus! Bring a bike to ride on Monday and Wednesday. Loaner bikes can be arranged with advance notice. Co-sponsored by Smart Trips and Bellingham Parks & Recreation. Skate Camp Grab a helmet and pads and skateboard with local expert Zac Garza and our skate camp counselors! Practice basics, learn new tricks, and play games throughout each week. Four different sessions to choose from in an amazing location! Important Skate Camp Notes • Campers must bring their own helmet, pads (elbow, knees, and wrist), skateboard and full water bottle. Snacks and lunch optional. • Campers must wear closed-toed shoes. No Crocs or flip flops. Sturdy tennis shoes are best. • If camper has special needs, please call (360) 595-3728 to discuss adaptation arrangements. • A positive and fun attitude!
