UBC Botanical Garden and
Nitobe Memorial Garden
Early October is the perfect time to visit two of lower
BC's most cherished gardens. These horticultural treasures
feature a variety of Pacific Rim trees and shrubs whose
shades evolve from vibrant reds to oranges to golden
hues. We'll enjoy a docent led tour and learn about the
history of the gardens then stroll the paths, take photos,
and be inspired by the beauty surrounding us. We'll enjoy
a no host lunch nearby before heading to White Rock for
an afternoon stroll and treat on the way home.

We had so much fun in July, we are going back for
another performance! Bard on the Beach features an
amazing outdoor production in beautiful Vanier Park.
This performance, Much Ado About Nothing, features
secret love, courtship, and marriage intertwined with
darker themes of warfare, deception, and mischief.
Prior to the show we will visit Granville Island.
