Before heading home we'll pop over to the Wagner Education Center at the Center for Wooden Boats and experience local maritime heritage like never before. A Victorian Christmas All aboard! Join us for a lovely overnight getaway to Victoria BC. Full of holiday sights, sounds and traditions, shopping, delicious fare…there's something for everyone. Highlights of the adventure include BC ferry ride, exploring Sidney-by-the-Sea, Inner Harbor accommodations, The Twelve Days of Christmas at Butchart Gardens, BC Parliament building tour, and plenty of free time to do so much more. Vancouver Christmas Market and VanDusen Festival of Lights Tis the holiday season! First stop: Vancouver Christmas Market. With vibrant décor, mouthwatering food and drinks, authentic gifts, and family-friendly entertainment — the Market is the perfect place to get into the holiday spirit and perhaps find something special for that special someone! Next stop: Van Dusen Festival of Lights. This spectacular showcase of over one million lights twinkling throughout the botanical garden will have you oohing and aahing all night long. DAY/DATE: Wednesday / November 5 TIME: 9:00 am–5:00 pm AGES: 12 years & older (under 18 years with an adult) COST: $75 Wild Lanterns Lions and tigers and bears, oh my! This evening we'll venture into Woodland Park Zoo for a one-of-a-kind experience where the zoo will be illuminated by large- scale animal and nature scape lanterns. You'll be inspired by the magic of the holiday season as you stroll along the walkways each featuring a unique lighted lantern display. Prior to the zoo, we will stop at University Village for a no-host meal and perhaps some early holiday shopping.
