Youth/ Teen FALL PLAYBOOK 2025 | BELLINGHAM PARKS & RECREATION 6 Photo by Ruby Gruber Preschool Open Gym Join us at the perfect dry place for your preschooler to have some fun. Bring a scooter or favorite active toy, no bicycles please. We provide balls, hoops, mats, and music for everyone's enjoyment. Socialize with other parents while your preschooler plays! This is a staffed program; however parental supervision is always required. Mini Ballers Sign up today for this fun series of classes that provide young children with a positive introduction to team sports. Kids and adults will play together while coaches lead activities, drills, and mini games helping to build basic skills along with sportsmanship and community. Each session includes four classes focusing on a different sport each week. Featured sports include soccer, basketball, baseball and football. Pre-registration required. On the road again! There's no school today so join our staff for a day of adventure, friendship and fun! The following information applies to all trips: Snow Much Fun! We're heading to the hills in search of the white and fluffy stuff! Grab your sleds (we'll bring some extra too) for a day of fun as we go sledding, build snow forts and make snow angels! We'll take a mid-day break for lunch and warm up with a cup of delicious hot cocoa. Final destination will depend upon recent snowfall. DAYS/DATES: Tuesdays & Thursdays / Sept. 9-Dec. 18 (Closed Oct. 16, Nov. 11 & 27, and Dec. 4) TIME: 9:00 am–12:00 pm AGES: 5 years old & younger, accompanied by an adult LOCATION: Bloedel Donovan Community Building COST: $10 for a monthly pass COORDINATOR: Rosa Caldwell DAY/DATE: Friday / September 19 TIME: 9:00 am–4:00 pm COST: $70 Shake, Rattle and Roll Get ready for action and fun today. First stop: Riverside Lanes in Mount Vernon. We'll kick off our day bowling a couple of games before taking a lunch break at nearby Rotary Park in Burlington. We'll explore this huge park, play a game or two and check out the brand-new inclusive playground. Last stop: Skagit Skate where we'll roll our way into the afternoon.
