COST: $80 COORDINATOR: Rosa Caldwell/Unknown Board Shop MIN: 5 / MAX: 12 Skate Camp Grab a helmet and pads for some after school skateboarding! Skate with local expert Zac Garza and his crew from Unknown Board Shop and camp counselor Mayo. Practice basics, learn new tricks, have fun! Important Notes: • Campers must bring their own helmet, pads (elbow, knee, and wrist), skateboard and full water bottle. • Campers must wear closed-toed shoes. No Crocs or flip-flops. Sturdy tennis shoes are best. • If a camper has special needs, please call (360) 595-3728 to discuss adaptation arrangements. • Campers bring a positive and fun attitude! Minecraft Coding & Modding Experiment with creating your own mod in MCreator and building Redstone Machines (Redstone is kind of like electrical circuits within Minecraft and used to build all sorts of machines virtually!) Kiddos will also be taking a mid-class break to get a little messy with a Minecraft STEAM project! Wear your Minecraft shirt and join kids that love to create with Minecraft like BCRC does! DAY/DATE: Sunday / November 16 TIME: 10:00 am–12:00 pm AGES: 9-12 years LOCATION: Bellingham Coding and Robotics Club (3230 Meridian Street) COST: $30 COORDINATOR: Rosa Caldwell / Robin Smiley MIN: 5 / MAX: 12 Photo by Robin Smiley ABCs of Microbits Join us for a hands-on class where we explore the basics of coding and electronics while building a simple, starter robot. Learn how to program a Microbit, connect basic components, and bring your robot to life — no experience needed! Best of all, you'll take home both the Microbit and your beginner robot to keep learning and experimenting at your own pace. A fun and approachable way to get started with robotics!
