Learn how the connective tissue in your hands, feet, legs and spine get dehydrated, and the common aches and pains it can cause. Learn how to rehydrate this essential system for vibrant health, pain-free movement and treatments that you will be able to repeat at home. Instructor Caryn Boyd Diel has been teaching this program throughout the US for 10 years. Qigong and Meditation Qigong is moving meditation. The benefits of Qigong include physical, mental and emotional well-being. Qigong reduces stress, strengthens the immune system, creates flexibility, speeds healing from injury, promotes restful sleep, relieves anxiety and depression and much more. Caryn will guide you through simple warmups and Qigong forms, ending with a short sitting meditation. Wear comfortable clothing. Learn about digging, dividing and storing tubers over the winter. There will be demonstrations including the best tools to use and simple things you can do in the non-growing season. Come with your enthusiasm and questions! Pre-registration required. Instructor Shuubh-Chintan Kaur, founder of Rhythms of India, will introduce you to the basic elements of this classic folk- style Indian dance set to Bollywood beats. Enjoy and experience a new genre, dance style, language, and culture while burning calories in a stress-free environment! No dance experience needed and open to all genders.
