Youth/ Teen SPRING/SUMMER PLAYBOOK 2023 | BELLINGHAM PARKS & RECREATION 8 DAY/DATE: Sunday, June 4 TIME: 1:00–4:00 pm AGES: 9-12 LOCATION: Bellingham Coding and Robotics Club, 1304 12th Street COST: $70 (includes building your own drone). COORDINATORS: Rosa Caldwell/Robin Smiley MIN: 5 / MAX: 8 Building & Flying Drones Do you love building robots and flying drones? We've combined the two for an afternoon of STEM fun! You'll build a remote-control drone, then take and pass the FAA's Recreational UAS Safety Test for drones. After the test we will fly the drones around the club! At the end of the day you will take your drone home. Pack a snack and a water bottle. Pre-registration is required. Pre-registration required. Gear Swap Youth Youth Youth FREE! Friday, April 14 • 3:00-6:00 pm Are your kids new to a sport, or have outgrown their gear? Stop by Bloedel Donovan Mulitpurpose Room and bring your own gently-used, outgrown gear to swap with other families. Local youth sports organizations will be on hand. Please note: This is NOT a drop off location for old equipment but rather a great opportunity to meet others, find gear for the upcoming season and share resources.
