This program is for individuals with special needs, 3 years or older, to get in the water and work one-on-one with a volunteer to increase swim skills, flexibility, exercise and have fun! Days: T, W, or Th Dates: Session 1: April 18–May 9 April 19–May 10 April 20–May 11 Session 2: May 16–June 6 May 17–June 7 May 18–June 8 Time: 3:45–4:45 pm Cost: $36.00/session Registration begins April 10th at 8:00 am Volunteer Opportunity! Volunteer with our Adapted Aquatics program! No experience is required. You will work with participants with special needs to increase mobility, exercise, and build new friendships. Plus, volunteer hours look great on college applications and resumés! Days: T, W, or Th Dates: April 11–June 6 April 12–June 7 April 13–June 8 Time: 3:30–5:00 pm Register Now! Bloedel Donovan Park Swimming Area The Bellingham Parks and Recreation beach lifeguards will be on duty in the swimming area daily. Tentative dates: July 1-August 27 Time: 1:00–6:00 pm Posted Park and Lake Rules will be enforced. Programs & Information Subject to Change. Join us for a non-traditional egg hunt. The swim will feature two hunts for eggs filled with toys or candy along with other activities in between. Children 6 and younger are required to be in the water, within arm's reach of their adult.
