Adaptive SPRING/SUMMER PLAYBOOK 2023 | BELLINGHAM PARKS & RECREATION 4 CAMP T.E.A.M. (Together Everyone Achieves More) An outrageously fun experience for teens and adults with developmental disabilities. Camp TEAM will be hosted at Bloedel Donovan Park again this year! Participants can register for one or both days of camp. We will play games, do arts and crafts, and explore outdoor adaptive sports, ending with karaoke on Friday afternoon! Western Washington University Recreation Program students will be your energetic co-campers. The cost of the camp includes adaptive kayaking activities. If you require individual assistance during Camp TEAM, personal care assistants attend for free. A link to this year's Camp TEAM packet is on your registration receipt. All participants are required to fill out a Participant Information form online and Outdoors for All liability form, both of which are in the Camp TEAM packet. Please Note: Registration and Participant Information form must be completed by April 20th! This program is not eligible for a refund. Registration closes Thursday, April 20th. Camp TEAM is sponsored by Western Washington University and Bellingham Parks and Recreation. Batting Against the Bells This is a fun-filled event for individuals with disabilities to bat against the Bellingham Bells players! The rules are: • Every player bats once during each inning • All players are safe on bases • Every player scores a run Spectators attend for free! DAY/DATE: Monday, July 31 TIME: Gates open at 6:00 pm, batting 6:30–8:00 pm AGES: 14 and older LOCATION: Joe Martin Stadium COST: FREE!
