Family/Community SPRING/SUMMER PLAYBOOK 2023 | BELLINGHAM PARKS & RECREATION 16 Model Sailboat Workshop Have you ever watched a model sailboat skimming across the water and thought, "I'd like to try that!" Well now you can! We are teaming with the Bellingham Model Sailboat Fleet to teach you the basics of sailing, how to sail a radio-controlled sailboat, and how to sail an established course around buoys. Participants will learn the basics skills and rules of racing at either session but must attend the first session in order to take the controls and race a boat in a mini regatta in Session 2. All equipment (boats and radio controllers) will be provided. Pre-registration is required. Explore this beautiful garden with its meandering paths and wonderful sculptures while enjoying light refreshments.
