Sports/ Fitness SPRING/SUMMER PLAYBOOK 2021 | BELLINGHAM PARKS & RECREATION 24 Bellingham Youth Triathlon Perfect for any kid who likes to swim, bike and run or even just one as relay teams are welcome. Our goal is to have fun with exercise. The event is timed to the nearest second, but results are posted in alpha/reverse alpha order. All finishers receive a medal, shirt, and are eligible to draw prizes. Registration opens April 12! Padden Triathlon The Lake Padden Triathlon is back! Our sprint and super-sprint races have been staples of the PNW triathlon schedule since before the existence of Ironman, Olympic distance or even use of the metric system. The skull tee shirts are pretty cool too! This year we will follow strict State and health department protocols which may include reduced number of participants, no spectators, masks to be worn at all times except when racing, no awards ceremony or post-race refreshments.
