The site was first established as a park in 1884. The park features large heritage trees (some of the biggest in the City), tennis, pickleball, playground, open lawn area, and picnic tables. There is a Gazebo at Elizabeth Park that is available for reserva on. Please check availability on our EZ Reg website, or contact the Parks & Recrea on Main Office. Euclid Park This neighborhood park is located on beau ful Lake Whatcom. The park includes hiking trails, water access, and limited parking. Fairhaven Park Fairhaven Park is a community park established in 1906. Facili es include two picnic shelters, pavilion, playground, spray park, basketball court, tennis courts, trails, mul purpose field, parking, restrooms, barbecue grills and picnic tables. Padden Creek provides seasonal interest with salmon runs and waterfalls. Mostly flat gravel and natural surface trails are located in a wooded park se ng. In late fall, salmon may be observed in Padden Creek. Dogs must be on leash. There is one Picnic Shelter and one Community Building at Fairhaven Park available for reserva on. Fairhaven Village Green Fairhaven Village Green is a special use site that includes unique pergolas, benches, open lawn, outdoor stage, movie scree, and restrooms. Forest & Cedar Park This neighborhood park includes swings, playground, basketball court, drinking fountain, restroom, and open lawn area. Fountain Plaza The Fountain Plaza has a longstanding history in the community, originally known as a stopping point for animals and livestock to access fresh water as they traveled through the area. Later with the arrival of the streetcar, the plaza become the epicenter of a new commercial area. The plaza now serves as the gateway to the Fountain District Urban Village, so take a moment to stop and enjoy this urban oasis. Fouts Park Fouts Park is a neighborhood park that features a playground with tube slide, open lawn, and picnic tables. The park is named a er William Henry Fouts, a county school superintendent and first public school teacher in Whatcom. The park was acquired and developed in 1980. Gossage Garden Gossage Garden is a small pocket park located in the Le ered Streets neighborhood. The park includes flower beds, gazebo and drinking fountain.
