Sunshine, flowering Indian Plum, and twittering kinglets and bewick's wrens serenaded us during our Leap Day work party at Cornwall Park. 59 volunteers, young and old, joined us to remove 10 cubic yards of invasive English Holly, Himalayan Blackberry, and English Ivy. Together, we planted 99 native trees and shrubs and spread 16 cubic yards of mulch to help restore wildlife habitat in this gem of a park. It was a great day! Thank you volunters for making it happen! #healthyparks, #volunteersmakeithappen, #parkscriptions, #thankyouvolunteers
