LIFEGUARD TRAINING
Looking for a job that doesn't leave you smelling like grease at
the end of the day? If you are a reasonable swimmer and
interested in being a first responder in emergencies, start your
training today with American Red Cross Lifeguard Training course.
Successful completion of this course will leave you with the smell
of chlorine and certifications in Lifeguarding, First Aid, CPR/AED
for the Professional Rescuer, Oxygen Administration and
Bloodborne Pathogens.
DAY/DATES: #1 - Sundays, September 10, 19, 24
#2 - Sundays, November 5, 12, 19

LIFEGUARD REVIEW COURSE
Lifeguard certifications expire after two years. If yours is about
to expire, sign up for this short, day-long course before you have to
retake the entire 30 hour lifeguard course again. Must possess a
current lifeguarding certification.

LIFEGUARD INSTRUCTOR COURSE
For those Lifeguards looking to get the next level of training,
this course will cover the essential skills, techniques and
information to train new Lifeguards. Requirements for this course
include a current Lifeguard Certification, passing the precourse
and completing the online precourse session.
DAYS/DATES: Fri, December 8, 5:30-9pm; Sat–Sun,
December 9–10, 8am-5:30pm
TIME: Fri, 5:30–9pm, and Sat-Sun, 8am–5:30pm

SPRINGBOARD DIVING CLASSES
A fun springboard diving program for divers 6 to 12 years old.
(Must have at least Youth 4 swimming ability). The diving program
will work on the basic approach and dives. As the divers progress,
more complex dives will be practiced.
DAYS/DATES: Mondays, September 11–November 13
TIMES: 5:15–6pm
AGES: 6 and older with at least Youth 4 swimming
ability

ART IN NATURE FOR KIDS
Explore and uncover colors, hues, and mediums in a natural
setting with instruction from an experienced artist. Also available
for private groups on evenings with advanced notice. Register at

BABYSITTING CLASS
Boys and girls 5th through 8th grade learn all the basic skills
needed to be a great, confident babysitter. Topics include:
children's different age characteristics, managing behavior,
general infant & toddler care, play ideas, safety issues and
instruction on what to do in emergency situations. Instructed by
Camp Fire, Babysitting Basics is part of their "Kids Self Reliance"
program which aims to encourage a child's self-esteem and
