Cancella ons/Refunds
To be eligible for a full refund of your rental fee and security deposit,
cancella ons must be made within 24 hours of your reserva on. Cancella ons
can be made by phoning 360-778-7000, by mail to Bellingham Parks & Recrea on
Office, 3424 Meridian Street, Bellingham, WA 98225 or by e-mail to
depotsquare@cob.org.
Should the City be required to cancel reserva ons due to an emergency or other
City requirement, all funds on account will be refunded in full.
Damage Deposit Refund
A er the event, the user will receive a refund of their damage deposit if the space
is returned to a neat, clean and undamaged condi on within the pre-arranged me
and all City-owned materials are accounted for. If the space is not returned to its
original condi on, the City will perform required cleaning, repair any damage, and
replace any missing materials. The full cost of labor and materials will then be
deducted from the damage deposit. If paid by credit card refund will be in 2-3
days, if paid by cash or check your refund is mailed within 2-3 weeks.
Costs not covered by the deposit will be billed to the user. Payment or
arrangements must be made within 15 days of receipt of the invoice. Unpaid
accounts will be referred for collec on.
