MAX HIGBEE CENTER OPPORTUNITIES MHC has been providing social and recreational opportunities for teens and adults with developmental disabilities for over 25 years For more information call Hallie Hemmingsen at 733- 1828 or view on line at www maxhigbeecenter org COMMUNITY ACCESS PROGRAM (CAP) • Monday through Friday 2:30–5:30 p m • Drop-off/Pick-up at 1210 Bay Street, Suite 102 • $8/day; participants must bring bus pass/bus fare each day in addition to any admission fees, snack money, etc MHC staff lead participants on a variety of community excursions using public transportation and by walking to locations around town; activities include YMCA workouts, cooking, hikes, sports, library visits, art projects, movies and much more WEEKEND DROP-IN CENTER • Friday & Saturday evenings from 5–9:30 p m • Location: 1210 Bay Street, Suite 102 • $6/night or $30/month; participants are responsible for bus fare and extra fees as noted on calendars MHC staff and volunteers lead groups in community-based activities as well as specialized in- house activities including karaoke, karate class, games, art projects, coffee shop visits, YMCA workouts, rock climbing, cooking, drumming and more 365 FITNESS • Tuesday & Thursdays from 10 a m –2:30 p m • Location: 1210 Bay Street, Suite 102 • $10/day or $15/hour of personal coaching (available upon appointment, if interested please call); participants are responsible for bus fare and extra fees as noted on calendars It is also encouraged that participants to bring a lunch 365 creates opportunities for our members to lead healthier lives and make healthy choices year-round, and is focused around goal oriented workouts Much of our program is community based, filled with adaptive workouts including, Yoga, Rock climbing, trail walks, circuit training, and much more Do you have a busy schedule and can't come during the day?
