AGES: 14 years and older DAY/DATES: Mondays, January 19 ("50's Sock Hop"), February 16 ("Valentine's Day"), March 16 music by Whatcom Sound TIME: 6–8 p.m. LOCATION: Bellingham Senior Center, 315 Halleck COST: A package of graham crackers at the door CLASSES MULTI-MEDIA ART This class will explore the use of a variety of materials, with a focus on printmaking, painting, drawing and design Participants will have the opportunity to engage in activities such as mask making, creating a collage, designing note cards and painting Creative enrichment, individual choices and enjoyment will be emphasized Our instructor, Jan Lor, has been teaching art since the 1980's She is the recipient of the Mayor's Art Award in recognition for helping people living with a disabling condition discover and enhance their artistic talents Minimum must be met one week prior to first class. (a one-time winter Camp TEAM event) Join WWU Recreation students for a Valentine themed day chock full of activities (and great company!) including traditional Camp TEAM karaoke, arts and crafts, games, sports, and surprises galore! This event includes one-on-one partnering with a WWU student, a tasty noon snack, a late afternoon hot meal, and a wild and crazy time! PLEASE NOTE: Participants must be available to stay for the entire event. You must provide your own transportation (please contact WTA for assistance if needed). Personal care assistants welcome at no cost, but must register to ensure a meal. This program is not eligible for a refund.
