Youth/ Teen SPRING/SUMMER PLAYBOOK 2026 | BELLINGHAM PARKS & RECREATION 6 Mini Ballers Join us for a positive introduction to team sports! Children and adults play together while coaches lead activities, drills, and mini games helping to build teamwork and basic sport skills. Each week focusing on a different sport. Featured sports include soccer, baseball, and football. Pre-registration required. Preschool Open Gym Join us for the perfect dry place for your preschooler to have some fun. Bring a scooter or favorite active toy, no bicycles please. We provide balls, hoops, mats, and music for everyone's enjoyment. Socialize with other parents while your preschooler plays with other children! Program is staffed; however adult supervision is required at all times. DAYS/DATES: Tuesdays & Thursdays / April 2-June 11 (closed April 7, 9, and May 7) TIME: 9:00 am–12:00 pm AGES: 5 years old & younger, accompanied by an adult LOCATION: Bloedel Donovan Community Building COST: $20 April or May, $10 June COORDINATOR: Rosa Caldwell DAY/DATES: Saturdays / April 11, 18, 25 TIME: 10:00-11:15 am AGES: 4-6 years and accompanied by an adult LOCATION: Bloedel Donovan Community Building COST: $45 COORDINATOR: Jim Pettinger MIN: 6 pairs / MAX: 12 pairs Photo by Gail Northey Spring Break Camp A week off from school? Yes please! Let's play games, make fun things, and be silly all week at camp! Hurry…deadline to register is Thursday, April 2! DAYS/DATES: Monday-Friday / April 6-10 TIME: 9:00 am–3:00 pm AGES: 7–12 years LOCATION: Bloedel Donovan Community Building COST: $220 COORDINATOR: Rosa Caldwell MIN: 10 / MAX: 20 Camp Things to Remember: • Wear good walking/hiking shoes (sturdy tennis shoes are great), no Crocs or flip flops. • Bring a full water bottle, lunch, snacks and a rain/wind jacket (dress for weather) • Allergen Notice: We are a nut-free camp. • A positive and fun attitude! • If a camper has special needs please call (360) 595-3728 to discuss adaptation arrangements.
