FALL PLAYBOOK 2025 | BELLINGHAM PARKS & RECREATION Facility Rental Info 26 Lighted Fields Available for Rent As we head into the shorter days of the year, we wanted to remind folks we do have lighted fields available for rent on a space available basis. These fields include: • Joe Martin Stadium • Civic Stadium • Squalicum Fields 1 and 2 • Geri Fields 1, 2 and 4 Email parks@cob.org if you are interested in learning more about reserving lighted fields or other athletic facilities. Civic Stadium Open Track Civic Stadium Track hours are updated every few weeks and posted on the stadium gates and the Civic Athletic Complex webpage. The stadium is closed on Mondays. Please bookmark this link if you want to check on the stadium availability prior to arriving at the facility. The stadium is sometimes closed on short notice for maintenance. Civic Athletic Complex Info Staff Spotlights Trevor Gilliam Park Technician – Structures Trevor is a graduate of BTC's Mapping and Surveying and Civil Engineering programs. Trevor also brings with him a depth of experience in custom home building, manufacturing, and surveying. We are excited to have him as part of our team. Matt Eldridge Park Technician – Trails A graduate of University of Idaho, Matt brings a background in wildland firefighting as a smoke jumper for the BLM as well as a Hotshot firefighter for the USFS. Matt has a strong background in equipment operation as well as being a self-employed Whatcom County organic dairy farmer for over 15 years. Grande Lakey Park Technician – Facilities Grande is new to the Park Operations Facilities team. He is excited to bring his knowledge and experience to the department. He loves the outdoors and likes to spend his free time hiking, skiing and traveling to new places. Welcome Grande. Andrew Shore Park Worker – Grounds Bellingham born and raised, Andrew has worked various facilities, trails and park maintenance jobs for the past 8 years. Andrew has also been a very active member on the local music scene for over a decade! Welcome Andrew, to the Park Operations Grounds team.
