ADAPTED AQUATICS – VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
What is Adapted Aquatics?
Our Adapted Aquatics program is for individuals,
three years or older, with special needs.
Participants get in the water and work one-on-one
with a volunteer to increase swim skills, flexibility,
exercise, and have fun!

Wednesdays
Cost: $60 for 6 lesson
Time: 4:30–5:15 pm
Dates: 4/23 to 5/28

Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED
The course prepares students to identify and respond
to various first aid breathing and cardiac emergencies
in adults, children, and infants. Upon successful
completion, participants will receive a valid digital
certificate for Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED,
valid for two years.
Prerequisites: 15 years or older
Cost: $125
Date: Saturday, May 31
Time: 9:00 am–1:00 pm
Lifeguard Training Course
The Red Cross Lifeguard course provides essential
training for aquatic safety, covering water rescue
techniques, CPR, first aid, and AED use. With a mix
of classroom instruction and hands-on practice,
participants will learn vital surveillance methods
and emergency action plans.
Upon successful completion, students earn a nationally
recognized certification valid for two years.
Prerequisites: 15 years or older and
complete a swimming pretest at Arne Hanna.
Cost: $250
Dates: Sundays, April 27, May 4, 11 -OR-
Monday-Wednesday, June 16-18
Time: 8:00 am–5:30 pm
