It is one of the root influences of US folk dancing. You will progress from learning the basic steps and figures, then put them together into more complex dances. Enjoy moving to the music of jigs and reels and eventually the elegant strathspey. Soft soled shoes without heels or slippers are recommended. Possibly the most essential aspect of Qigong in reference to health is its emphasis on mental and emotional well-being. Qigong reduces stress, strengthens the immune system, creates flexibility, speeds healing from injury, promotes restful sleep, relieves anxiety and depression and much more.
