Come join us for a two–hour adventure where each team of two children will build a Mars Landing Vehicle, then code it, and drive it on Mars. Watch out for the Extraterrestrials!! This adventure will all happen at the Bellingham Coding and Robotics Club located in Fairhaven. Pack a small snack and full water bottle. DAY/DATE: Sunday, January 29 TIME: 10:00 am–12:00 pm AGES: 10–12 years LOCATION: Bellingham Coding and Robotics Club (1304 12th Street) COST: $20 per participant COORDINATORS: Rosa Caldwell / Robin Smiley MIN: 5 / MAX: 12 Building Robots with Legos® Spend two hours with us learning what all the buzz is about. Taken straight out of our summer camp activities, you will build one of your favorite Lego creations with a partner and code it with drag and drop coding. No experience in Lego and coding necessary to love this fun morning! See you at the Club! Pack a small snack and full water bottle. DAY/DATE: Sunday, February 26 TIME: 10:00 am–12:00 pm AGES: 7-10 years LOCATION: Bellingham Coding and Robotics Club (1304 12th Street) COST: $30 COORDINATORS: Rosa Caldwell / Robin Smiley MIN: 5 / MAX: 12 DAYS/DATES: Tuesdays & Thursdays: January 10–April 13 (closed March 30, April 4, 6) TIME: 9:00 am–12:00 pm AGES: 5 years old and under, accompanied by an adult LOCATION: Bloedel Donovan Community Building COST: $10 for a 10–visit pass (per child, 1st visit FREE) If you already have a pass, we are keeping track of your visits. COORDINATOR: Rosa Caldwell MAX: 50 people in the space at a time Preschool Open Gym Don't let winter weather keep you at home! POG is the perfect dry place for your preschooler to have some fun. Bring a scooter or favorite active toy, no bicycles please. We provide balls, hoops, mats and music for everyone's enjoyment. Socialize with other parents while your preschooler plays with other children! This is a staffed program; yet parental supervision is required. DAY/DATES: Session 1: Saturday, January 21 – Cookie Decorating Contest Session 2: Saturday, April 15 – Egg Decorating & Dropping Contest TIME: 7:00–10:00 pm AGES: 12–16 years LOCATION: Fairhaven Park Pavilion COST: $10 per date (CITs sign up but attend for free!) COORDINATOR: Rosa Caldwell MIN: 5 / MAX: 20 Teen Hang Out Hang out with us for games and some fun competition!
