Practice basics, learn new tricks, and play games. Session 1: Monday-Friday, July 11-15 Session 2: Monday-Friday, August 8-12 TIME: 10:00 am-12:00 pm AGES: 6-15 LOCATION: Bellingham Skate Park COST: $60 COORDINATORS: Rosa Caldwell/Unknown Board Shop MIN: 6 / MAX: 12 DAY/DATES: Mondays, July 18, 25, or Aug 1 TIME: 9:00 am-4:00 pm AGES: 9-14 DEPART/RETURN: Bellingham Skate Park COST: $45 each date COORDINATOR: Rosa Caldwell MIN: 6 / MAX: 12 Skate Day Trips A fun offering for beginner to intermediate skaters! Each day we will skate at Bellingham Skate Park and either Burlington or Sedro Woolley Skate Parks. Camp Safety Protocols: • Campers/staff will abide by current DoH protocols. • If illness symptoms present while camp is in session, camper will be isolated, and guardians contacted for immediate pick up. • If camper has special needs, please call (360)595-3728 to discuss adaptation plans. Camp Things to Remember: • Fill out Information forms (one per camper) • Bring a face mask (some locations may require) • Wear good walking/hiking shoes (a good pair of sturdy tennis shoes will be great), no Crocs, no open toed sandals or flip flops except for swimming and splash park time • Rain/wind jacket & sun hat (dress for weather) • Filled water bottle • Lunch and snacks (Allergen Notice: we are a nut-free camp. Sunbutter & jam sandwiches instead of PB&Js recommended). • Swimsuit, towel, and water shoes for water play • Sunscreen spray • Skate camp: Campers must have their own helmet, pads (elbow, knee, wrist) & skateboard. Smart Trips Adventure Camp Exercise, confidence & independence. Kids can get these (& more!) by learning to walk, bike and ride the bus. Smart Trips staff will use games, field trips and classroom activities to teach map-reading, walking and bicycle safety, and bus route planning. Skills will be put to the test Friday during a FUN! Urban Transportation Scavenger Hunt! Participants must attend all training sessions (M-Th) to compete on Friday. Bring a bike to ride on M&W. Loaner bikes can be arranged with advance notice.
