the county's longtime, comprehensive guide for recreation and educational activities.
Digital copies are distributed via the Bellingham Parks newsletters, social media outlets, email and the City website.
Nearly 28,000 printed copies are direct mailed with additional copies located throughout local businesses, Bellingham

FACILITY RENTALS
Bellingham Parks & Recreation is accepting reservations
for indoor and outdoor spaces and special events.
Details include:
• Outdoor facility reservations are available April 1
through October 31 for reservable picnic shelters located
throughout the park system.
• Indoor, special use facilities and athletic fields and
facilities are also available. Programs follow current state
Department of Health guidelines and provide staffing
and oversight for the activities.
Applications for events open to the public, commercial
events, runs and races, requests for open space, or
beer gardens require a separately executed contract,
insurance, and a safety plan. Requests must be
submitted at least 30 days in advance.
Approval is dependent upon supporting information
submitted with application, facility/park availability,
peak public use, staff availability. Larger community
events requiring street closures or additional
requirements will be reviewed and processed
at the City's Permit Center.
