Bellingham Parks and Recreation and local art instructor Jan Lor will host Multi-Media Art class for individuals with disabilities at Maritime Heritage Park. DAY/DATES: Mondays, dates and themes include: Session 1: Jan 10 – Winter Watercolors Session 2: Feb 14 – Collaged Cards Session 3: Mar 14 – Printmaking Session 4: April 11 – Spring Mixed Media TIME: 6:00-8:00 pm AGES: 14 and older LOCATION: Maritime Heritage Park Pavilion COST: $5 per session COORDINATOR: Rosa Caldwell/Jan Lor MIN: 5 / MAX: 10 per session SPIN Dance at Home Dance with us every third Monday of the month! Bellingham Parks and Recreation and the Max Higbee Center will host SPIN Dances at Home for individuals with disabilities. Everyone 14 and older is invited to dance with us to music provided by Glitt3r Lyfe's Aireekah! DAY/DATES: Mondays: Jan 17, Feb 21, March 21, April 18 TIME: 6:00-8:00 pm AGES: 14 and older LOCATION: Online. Please register for each session to receive your Zoom link and password COST: FREE (must pre-register) COORDINATOR: Rosa Caldwell/Max Higbee Center MAX: 90 each dance Max Higbee Center photo COMING THIS SPRING: Camp TEAM Day Camps! Be on the lookout for Camp Team Day Camp registration in our Spring/Summer Playbook. Once again we are teaming up with our Western Washington University partners to bring back our favorite camp with a new and safe twist this May! Please note: Bellingham Parks and Recreation activities will follow all current health department guidelines and Covid-19 safety protocols.
