FALL PLAYBOOK 2021 | BELLINGHAM PARKS & RECREATION Family/Community Events 12 Padden Polar Dip & Resolution Run/Walk At high noon we'll line up for a quick dip in Lake Padden. It's cold... a lot cold – you probably don't want to know the actual temperature. What's important is that you bring a towel, a camera and shoes that can get wet. Do not, under any circumstances, forget shoes that can get wet. Also, some sort of clothing. Think rated G and think dip – not swim. Bonus karma points for style. Lake Padden Disc Golf Tournament Lake Padden Golf Course is testing a newly designed, 18-hole disc golf course which includes par 3/4/5 holes (par 62 total) and features out of bounds, hazards, and challenging design on Lake Padden's front nine. To celebrate its creation, we are organizing a pilot disc golf tournament on October 17th! This inaugural event is designed for advanced skill level players. Each team will receive a packet and map, then walk to nearby locations where they will answer questions, collect items or take photos. Team members will need a keen eye, sharp mind, ONE device and a great attitude to FINish. Points given for each correct answer and combined with the elapsed time to determine winners. Prizes will be given to the winning teams as well as some special categories including Best Costumed and Best Named teams. Dress appropriately… this family fun event will go rain or shine!
