Your receipt will have the Zoom link and password COST: $10 per device COORDINATOR: Rosa Caldwell / Kolby LaBree MIN: 5 / MAX: 30 Spring on Cornwall by Ellen Greene Buried Belling-history: A Virtual Tour of Bayview Cemetery Kolby LaBree of the Good Time Girls Bellinghistory Tours will lead you on a virtual tour featuring some of the fascinating history of Bayview Cemetery including filmed footage and historical photographs. Founded in 1887 when the town of Whatcom purchased a 10-acre plot along the road to Lake Whatcom, Bayview Cemetery is the only remaining cemetery in Bellingham. You will learn how it has grown and discover some of the history of its most interesting monuments. Question and answer session included! You may have seen them placed around Harris Avenue and beyond in Bellingham's Historic Fairhaven District, with mysterious messages such as "Dead Men Displayed Here, 1890." You will dive deep into the stories behind some of the markers with filmed footage and historical photographs and finally learn… the rest of the story! Question and answer session included.
