The park is mostly fenced and includes a playground, benches, ligh ng, sport court, and tot play area. Squalicum Creek Park Squalicum Creek Park is a community park established in 2002. Facili es include restroom, ballfield, parking, trails, playground, picnic facili es, fenced off leash dog park, and basketball. Dogs must be on leash, except within the fenced off leash area. The park includes reservable ballfields and picnic shelter. Please check availability on our EZ Reg website, or contact the Parks & Recrea on Main Office. St Clair Park This neighborhood park includes a playground with swings, restrooms, and open lawn area. The park is immediately adjacent to Whatcom Falls Park. Onsite parking is available. Sunnyland Park This neighborhood park includes swings, playground, drinking fountain, picnic table and open lawn area. Sunset Pond Park Facili es include parking and trails. Fishing is permi ed at Sunset Pond. Please reference Washington State Department of Fish and Wildlife fishing regula ons. Trails are generally flat with gravel surfacing. There is a gravel trail north of the pond that provides water access. A dirt trail on the south side of pond connects to stairs located on a trail easement at Sunset Pond Apartments and leads to Orleans Street. All trails, plus the open water, are designated for off leash dog training and water exercise. Dogs must be under voice control when off leash. Whatcom Falls Park Whatcom Falls Park is a community park established in 1908. Facili es include two picnic shelters, playgrounds, mul purpose field, basketball court, tennis courts, barbecues, picnic tables, restrooms, trails, interpre ve displays, fish hatchery and parking. Dogs must be on leash. The stone bridge is an excellent waterfall viewing spot. Educa onal signage about local fish is located at the fish hatchery. A brochure detailing Whatcom Falls Park history and points of interest is available at the Park office. The upper park area also includes a pump track for non- motorized mountain bicycles. No dogs are permi ed in the bike track area, playground or basketball court. The park includes reservable ballfields and picnic shelter.
